What to Expect As An Agent

  • Interact with customers via phone focusing on software navigation questions as well as assisting customer with locating prior year's returns and amendments
  • Serve as ambassador for the client; take a caring and empathetic approach to customer interactions and/or escalation to a higher         level of expertise.
  • Document all issues, resolution and follow up actions
  • Handle technical support questions via phone, with and/ or without video capability. (Video support is a requirement of 1 level of tax support)
  • Assist general customers, small accounting firms or large accounting firms.
  • Research, analyze and determine an appropriate course of action for client customers

Equipment Requirements

PC Requirements:

Dual-core 2.8 GHz or better or Intel " i " class or AMD Phenom X2 class or better.

64 GB total Hard Drive or higher.

4 GB of RAM or better

USB VoIP Headset.

Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10

Hard-wired connection (no wireless) Minimum 10 Mbps download / Minimum 3 Mbps upload

MAC Requirements:

Macs must have an Ethernet port

Mac Book Air and Mac USB-C ports will not be supported

Boot Camp and a licensed version of Windows (Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10) MUST be installed. Please note that Arise Technical Support WILL NOT be able to provide assistance with the installation of Boot Camp and/or Windows or any questions related to it.

64 GB total Hard Drive or higher.

Available Hours

7 days per week

**This is a seasonal client from January-May**

Monday through Friday:

8:00 AM – Midnight EST 

Client requests agents service 20 hours per week, (4 hours) required on a Saturday or Sunday or a combination of both.

Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour +(General Customer Support video required)

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour (Large Accounting firms Support NO video required)

Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour +(Small to Mid sized Accounting Firms Support NO video required)
